The ERASMUS + MOBILITY PROGRAMME encourages exchanges in higher education as a way of internationalising students, teachers and non-teachers, providing them with cultural and social experiences that contribute to their academic and professional enrichment.

At UTAD, the Programme is managed by the Vice-Rector for Internationalization, through the International Relations and Mobility Office (GRIM).

GRIM provides support to all those who wish to undertake a placement abroad under this programme (students and Staff). With appropriate documents for each stage of mobility, the aim is to achieve greater transparency and clarification for participants.

The International Relations and Mobility Office is located at the Shared Services Building at the Student’s Space.

Incoming Students

As you will soon find out, Vila Real definitely deserves its reputation as the “wonderful kingdom” as it was wrote by the portuguese poet Miguel Torga. A historic town with a rich culture, Vila Real has succeeded in growing since its Roman ancestry.

Throughout your visit among us, our team will be available to help you so that your visit to our university is as successful as possible, both from an academic and personal point of view.

Using the following information, UTAD intends to convey to all mobility students, coordinators and Higher Education Institutions relevant information on the University itself and its educational offer, as well as some practical information that will be helpful for exchange students/staff who wish to come to UTAD for a mobility period.

This package has been created with the principles of Transparency and Academic Recognition in mind, and we hope that it will assist students who wish to study at UTAD with the organisation of their Learning Agreements, and prove useful to the decision processes of our current and prospective international partners.
