General Objectives
This is a 1st cycle course of 6 semesters and 180 ECTS, allowing 4 branches of specialisation, whose main objective is to train professionals to act with competence and commitment in clubs, sports entities, laboratories and fitness centres, through the deepening of up-to-date knowledge in order to meet the growing demands and expectations of the present and future labour market. The intention is that graduates are able to:

- Use exercise and physical activity as a fundamental means;
- Use the knowledge of their speciality in their professional activity, in an integrated way, within the framework of scientific pedagogical and didactic knowledge;
- Act ethically within the scope of their professional activity;
- Reflect on their practices, relying on experience, research and other resources for their personal and professional development;
- Promote and cooperate in research and development studies and projects;
- Use information and communication technologies in their professional activity and self-training;
- View their professional space as a field of social and cultural intervention for democratic citizenship education.

Sports Training Branch:
- Coach at all levels of sports practice;
- Technical-scientific and pedagogical management of teams and sports organisations;
- Guiding and leading physical fitness programmes in the field of sports training;
- Trainer of people with disabilities;
- Promotion and organisation of sports events and competitions;
- Leadership of multidisciplinary teams in the area of sports training;
- Management of the training of trainers;
- Innovation and research in the areas of sports performance and training control.
Collective Sports Games Branch:
- Sports Monitor, with intervention in the process of initiation, orientation and sports specialisation;
- Assistant Coach and Coach in teams at elementary and advanced levels of sport practice;
- Supervision and technical and pedagogical collaboration in teams and sports organisations;
- Planning and implementation of long-term sports preparation programmes in sports organisations;
- Intervention in Collective Sports Games included within the scope of Adapted Sport;
- Organisation and conduct of sports events and competitions in clubs and other sports organisations;
- Establishment of multidisciplinary intervention teams in the teaching and training of collective sports games;
- Management of training of technical teams;
- Promotion of scientific research in the areas of analysis of training and competition in collective sports games. Branch of Fitness Centre Activities and Exercise Prescription:
- Design, coordination and conduct of physical exercise programmes aimed at the promotion of health and well-being;
- Scientific and pedagogical management of infrastructures dedicated to the practice of physical exercise for health;
- Leadership of individual and collective programmes of physical exercise and/or weight control;
- Participation in multidisciplinary teams aimed at the design and conduct of individual and collective programmes of physical exercise and/or weight control;
- Concept, promotion and conduct of informative and educational initiatives in the community;
- Development of strategies for the evaluation and prescription of personalised cardio training and bodybuilding for different attendees of fitness centres and for special groups;
- Improvement of the quality of professional performance through the critical analysis of the different methodologies of activities in fitness centres. Adventure, Sports and Leisure Branch:
In the Public and Associative Sector:
- Senior Sports Officer in municipalities;
- Sports monitor in schools, municipalities, associations, clubs and federations;
- Adventure and Leisure Sports Officer in natural and recreational parks, education and training centres, cultural and recreational associations,
Local and community development associations; in the Private Sector:
- Technician for tourist activity and sports companies; Sports consultant (advising, planning and marketing);
- Technical Director of sports facilities;
- Creation of self-employment opportunities (undertaking Small and Medium Enterprise projects in the sports sector).
