General Objectives
Supported by a set of knowledge contents updated and strategically disputed by its main areas of market implementation, the Multimedia Master's Degree provides the specialized development of skills that are useful and indispensable to the demands of the current society, namely the new forms of communication in digital support , where the Internet plays a relevant role. Characterized by an essentially practical approach and privileging the experimental contact of the masters with a whole set of innovative tools and the most disputed technologies of the present time, the MSc in Multimedia provides to its students a specialized development of skills in the production and publication technologies content development and the development of Internet-based multimedia applications.
The MSc in Multimedia aims not only to specialize students in the 1st cycle, but also to develop capacities for research and innovation in the areas of Design, Multimedia Content production, development and optimization of Web applications. Of the professionals with this training it is also expected that they will have the capacity to solve problems in this area, to collect and interpret information specific to the area, to base and communicate the proposed solutions, and to develop skills and motivation for research, innovation and lifelong learning.

Career Opportunities
Multimedia masters are qualified to integrate the teams of companies / organizations / teams in the area of ​​Multimedia, namely those dedicated to the design, adaptation and management of information dissemination systems, as well as their production, commercialization and / or maintenance, and the development of WEB applications. The MSc in Multimedia also hopes to train specialists for the broad sector of services and industry, public administration, the media, education and research. However, it is expected that areas such as the production and dissemination of content, once driven by a strong economic motivation (eg Digital Television), may also employ a large number of specialists with this profile.

Admission Requirements
- Holders of a bachelors degree or legal equivalent in the areas of Multimedia, Digital Content Production or similar;
- Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, resulting from a 1st cycle of studies organised according to the principles of the Bologna Process, in the areas of Multimedia, Digital Content Production or similar;
- Holders of academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognised as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle;
- Holders of a foreign higher academic degree recognised as meeting the objectives of the bachelors degree.
