General Objectives
The aim of the course is to train senior staff with the skills, knowledge and competences for the labour market, with specific training in various sub-areas of Business Sciences, with the following objectives: - To provide a solid training in the various areas of management, accompanied by knowledge in other essential areas (e.g. exact sciences, social and legal sciences, etc.); - To provide theoretical and practical standards and the technical/scientific knowledge necessary to gain employment, work and develop professionally in various types of organisation; - To prepare professionals able to perform a wide range of functions in various fields of management (e.g. marketing, HR, audit, accounting, logistics); - To encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and the development of diverse behavioural skills; - To stimulate the spirit of research by encouraging graduates to pursue studies at the 2nd and 3rd cycle levels.

In terms of professional profile, Management Graduates are usually called upon to perform, among others, the following functions:
- Manage and administer a company or an organisation, understanding its strategic and institutional options and identifying its strengths and weaknesses;
- Join any functional area ofa company or organisation and perform with ease any management task assigned therein;
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities;
- Evaluate the current situation based on information records, and identify any possible evolution of the company or organisation;
- Perform consultancy and auditing functions in the different areas of management;
- Design studies and business projects;
- Coordinate and draft management projects for the whole or any functional area of the company or organisation;
- Identify and use the relevant sources of economic information and their contents;
- Be a teacher and/or researcher.
