General Objectives
The course aims to provide to the Masters an integrated set of skills, and a solid training based on knowledge and skills of understanding at a higher level in the area of ​​Electrical and Computer Engineering.
It is intended that students:

a) Learn about how to apply knowledge, the ability to understand and solve problems to new situations, in multidisciplinary contexts, in order to establish solutions to specific questions or problems;
b) Gain skills to deal with complex issues, to issue judgments in situations of limited information, reflecting on possible ethical and social implications;
c) Be able to communicate conclusions and the reasoning behind them;
d) Gain skills that enable autonomous lifelong learning.

In this way it is intended to provide a multidisciplinary training that allows the MASTER to perform functions on an individual basis or in a business environment and to promote the acquisition of skills that prepare the professional future.

Admission Requirements
- The general conditions of access are established by the provisions of article 17 of Decree-Law no.
74/2006, of 24 March, republished by Decree-Law no. 65/2018 of 16 August, and other applicable legislation.

- Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

- Candidates must have Proficiency in English or Portuguese. Applicants whose native language is not Portuguese, or English must provide proof of mastery of Portuguese or English. These candidates may be interviewed for selection
Selection And Ranking Criteria
- Proficiency in Portuguese;
- Classification of access enablement;
- Curriculum;
- Motivation document to apply for a master’s degree. With this evaluation parameter, it is intended to have a perspective of the candidate's focus and motivation;
- Candidates may be interviewed for selection and seriation, in Portuguese or English.
