General Objectives
The MSc in Agronomic Engineering provides training and qualification of graduates with a solid scientific and technical background to plan, design and manage agricultural and agroindustrial activities, ensuring that goods and services are obtained in a sustainable, diversified and safe way for man and the environment.
The course also aims at encouraging autonomous learning and the ability to respond to new issues arising from the evolution of knowledge and new demands of society.
Graduates of Agronomic Engineering acquire the capacity and skills relating to:
- The preparation and execution of innovative projects and studies, the development of business functions and the design of models in the agronomic and agroindustrial area;
- The technical and economic management of farms, and consultancy and scientific research in the various aspects of agricultural activity, from both productive and environmental points of view;
- Continuing studies at the level of the 3rd cycle (PhD)

Career Opportunities
This course has both compulsory and optional curricular units, permitting students to follow different syllabi to obtain specialisations in different areas, namely Vitiviniculture, Olive Growing and Olive Oil, Hortofloriculture, Fruticulture, Agroindustries and Organic Agriculture. Students also have the opportunity to build their own curriculum, choosing the optional Curricular Units that best suit their objectives.

Admission Requirements
- Holders of a foreign higher academic degree, resulting from a 1st cycle of studies organised according to the principles of the Bologna Process, in the area of Agricultural Sciences;
- Holders of a foreign higher academic degree recognised as meeting the objectives of the bachelors degree;
- Holders of a bachelors degree or legal equivalent in the area of Agricultural Sciences or related;
- Holders of academic, scientific or professional curriculum recognised as attesting the capacity to carry out this cycle.
