Salviano F. S. P. Soares, PhD is an assistant professor in the Engineering Department, Science and Technology School, UTAD, Portugal, and a researcher at IEETA – Institute of Electronics and Telematics Engineering, University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has been involved in R&D projects, funded by FCT, being Principal Investigator on R&D industry projects with Altice Labs, and Sonae. He is author/co-author of more than on hundred scientific/technical papers, book chapters, portuguese marks and one international patent. His main research interests are in the signal processing and its applications.
