UTAD students find here a wide range of facilities that fully responds to their needs and meets all quality requirements.
Modern university residences, an on-campus central library, computer labs, access to broadband wireless network, online services, bookstores, printing shops, school, bars, canteens and restaurants are all excellent examples.
Sports facilities, which encourage the practice of several dozen different sports are also provided. Students can also participate in cultural activities such as theatre, cinema, radio, music, musical groups, popular games, etc., organised by independent groups from the Academy, the Municipal Theatre and the Music Conservatory.
UTAD also provides pre-incubation spaces, encouraging entrepreneurship and promoting connections to the business world, which carries strong potential for students to enter the labour market.
In the Academic Year opening ceremony of, the Secretary of State for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Maria Fernanda Rollo, addressed the new students, saying: “Well done for choosing UTAD. This University’s results are brilliant and inspiring”.
