UTAD and Vila Real Theater hosted a selection of looks Festival of Mediterranean Film – Film on Women, which for three days showed (more) some of that part of the world, discussing issues and topics as urgent as critical that mark not only the current times as the history of their societies. The film, in this sense, “haptics ensures access to many hidden stories and reveal.”
With a look marked by the active involvement of women in production or execution of works, the six sessions with the participation of professors and researchers from UTAD and a public Academy and the city of Vila Real who helped to interesting discussions that have been proposed as sequels to view the films.
This was an initiative of the Culture Mission Group UTAD, which hopes to maintain and strengthen next year with the opening of new public and side events. The cinema, alongside other artistic productions, has enabled the UTAD explore new frontiers and opportunities for dialogue with other institutions, other authors, other viewpoints and other voices. The arts are enabling new possibilities of being in the world – fostering this learning to learn and attention to other things in our house, the world. Events through which UTAD demand, rightly, build bridges with all others who inhabit this (our) common home.
